Today’s post is all about Sims 4 Elder CC!
It’s no secret that elders in the Sims 4 are the most underrated and ignored life stage in the game.
I’m here with a few Sims 4 elder cc options to help inspire more interest and diversity amongst our sweet old sims. In this post you’ll find clothes, skin details, furniture as well as mods to enhance your gameplay and storylines involving elders.
As a die-heart family style player I personally love having elders around, especially now with the Growing Together pack integration. I faithfully create elder only clubs with activities that allow them to live out their final days happily after years of grinding at the hands of their creators, Lol.

Grandma Accessory Apron by Dissia
First up on our Sims 4 elder cc journey we have this beautifully tailored apron from the Grandma Collection by Dissia. This collection has a variety of clothing options to suit your mature sims. I highlighted the apron because who hasn’t maxed out the baking skill with their elder sims? I think it’s so cute to dress the part and with this apron accessory you can do just that.

Retro Nightgown by Linavees
The classic grandma nightgown is next on our list of Sims 4 elder cc. I’ve never met a grandma who didn’t have at least one nightgown like this.
Women’s Sleepwear #2 by BokchoiJo
Here is another grandma nightgown option with short sleeves for those warmer nights.
Grandpa’s Knit Vests by Strenee Sims
We can’t forget about the grandpas and it’s a right of passage for some to sport their stylish sweater vests from time to time (cringes at the thought). Either handmade with love by their knitting partner or given with glee by excited grandkids, the sweater vest will never die!

Truffle Dress by Saurus
The Truffle dress is a part of the Rum Raisin set by Saurus. Saurus put together a fabulous set just for our elder sims. This base game compatible dress looks great on older sims and flatters their fading hourglass figures.
Cranberry Hat by Saurus
I love when items coordinate and the cranberry hat pairs perfectly with the Truffle dress mentioned above. I can see my elder sims gathering for coffee or tea looking absolutely lovely in this flower adorned hat.
Wrinkle Overlay by Nolan Sims
Wrinkles are automatic once your sims become elders but with this wrinkle overlay you can control the severity. This overlay is ideal for those elder sims that have moisturized for years to avoid excess wrinkles or maybe it’s the opposite and they’ve had a tougher life so you need that represented with some deeper wrinkles. Either way, this Sims 4 elder cc wrinkle overlay can accomplish that.
Prune Skin Details by Saurus
Here we have another Sims 4 elder cc wrinkle overlay with the addition of body details. Now you can make sure your sims face matches their body with overlaying body wrinkles and age spots as well.

Wrinkle Overlay by Forgotten Pixels
My final wrinkle overlay suggestion comes from Forgotten pixels. This simple face wrinkle overlay is so versatile with 48 swatches of differing opacities and available in all skin details slots for ultimate usage.
Mama Hair by Feral Poodles
This iconic hair patterned from the popular 80’s sitcom “Mama’s Family” is now a part of the Sims 4 Elder cc lineup! A short curly hair for all of those slick mouth elder sims in your game to match Mama’s tv energy and style.
Elizabeth Hair by Feral Poodles
Feral Poodles presents the late Queens definitive hairstyle for our royal and commoner sims to dawn. This classic short style is perfect for historical gameplay and regular elder usage.
Granny Hair by Saurus
Growing up, I used to brush my grandmother’s long hair and she would always braid it or put it up in a loose bun just like this one from Saurus. This style is classic granny hair to me and for so many of my sims. Lol.
Rusty Hair_M by Rusty’s
I often go to Rusty’s for royal wear and modest outfits for my sims but something drew me to this male hair. Many elders keep up with the relaxed look from their youth which is why I love this Sims 4 elder cc right here.
Ezra and Ezri Hair by Saurus
I had to include these tidy loc’d hairstyles by Saurus because I adore the gentle graying throughout these hairs. Not every elder gets a complete head of white hair as they age so these styles are a great representation of that.
Irma Hair by Saurus
The graying of the roots on the Irma and Mari hair are so realistic. Again, not every elder goes completely gray / white as they age. I adore this type of graying because it makes me think the sim is in between dye jobs which is so in line with realistic gameplay.
Mari Hair by Saurus
Gray Strands by Sunnybelloria
This piece of Sims 4 elder cc adds more realism to your sims because you’re able to place gray streaks throughout their hairstyle. There are 28 swatches to choose from for a more personalized look on each sim.
JDM Facial Hair by Golyhawhaw
I almost died when I saw this Zaddy-rific salt and pepper full beard from Golyhawhaw. There’s something about a slightly graying beard…(ahem – FOCUS!!). It comes in 8 varying swatches for the perfect touch of gray.😉

Graying Overlay by Igor Sims
This graying beard overlay is another wonderful option to add just a touch to your elder sims that haven’t gone completely gray / white yet. With 12 swatches this beard overlay adds the much needed versatility to any beard, including stubble. Compatible with unnatural hair colors as well.
Shoes for Audrey by Rusty’s
Shoes for Audrey are a set of three stylish strapped pumps for all ages. The lowest heel was created with our elder sims in mind. With a classic and comfortable design to pair with any outfit.
Age Appropriate Collection by Jius-Sims
Jius-Sims put together my all time favorite collection of shoes for older sims. This Sims 4 elder cc collection consists of four flat shoes created especially for elders.
You’ll find a cute walking shoe for power walks at Gilbert Gardens, two lovely loafers for many occasions and a pair of sandal style loafers for warmer days. This collection alone will cover just about any casual outfit you can think of for your elder sims.
The Big Granny Pack #1 by Miss Ruby Bird
I couldn’t stop smiling after stumbling across this 3 part Sims 4 elder cc collection by Miss Ruby Bird. Each set has granny inspired clothing and furniture recolors to make any elder sim happy.
The color palettes are warm and inviting with a touch of muted patterns that I’m sure many of us have seen our grannies wear or decorated their homes with. Most items are base game compatible while some are pack dependent so as always please read download instructions carefully.

It still amazes me that we don’t have functioning walking canes in the Sims 4. But with this Sims 4 elder cc walking cane we can pretend at least. I absolutely love the placement of version 1 because sims look so natural while walking with it.
Granny’s Greatest Hits by Simcredible
It’s the fine details that make everything complete and with this Sims 4 elder cc collection of granny inspired knick knacks you can do just that. From floral coin purses and decor plates to delicate table doilies and baskets of yarn balls, any room will look like a storybook grandparents home with this set.
Rock ‘n Rockers by Peacemaker (Simsational Designs)
If you’ve been using Sims 4 custom content enough then you know that Peacemaker is a top tier creator! After the release of Knifty Knitting pack, Peacemaker put together a set of 12 awesome rocking chairs to elevate any room. In the words of Peacemaker “Grandma is going to be one stylish rocker in these babies!”
Casual Knitting by Plumlace
Knitting and elders go hand and hand, but of course this mod is for every sim. The Casual Knitting mod allows your sims to knit anywhere on the lot without needing the knitting basket in their inventory.
I often place knitting baskets next to my sim’s rocking chair or favorite seat and have them knit away. It’s also perfect for club gatherings since everyone on the lot can knit as long as at least one knitting basket is placed.
Twilight Years Aspiration by KiaraSims4Mods
I hate giving my elder Sims brand new aspirations because none are geared towards the golden sim years. Hopefully this four tier elder specific aspiration by KiraSims4Mods can help fill that void. This aspiration covers everything from baking desserts for family to getting a well-deserved spa treatment.

Retiree Trait by KiaraSims4Mods
I’ve also included a few elder specific traits to reflect on your elders current position in life such as this retiree or grandparent traits. Each comes with their own special buffs and whims.

I always looked forward to spending time alone with my grandparents. With this mod from Little Ms Sam our sims can spend some quality time with their grandparents, other parent – in cases of divorce, extended family members or friends without you needing to tag along.
Golden Years by Adeepindigo
Our Sims 4 elder cc list draws to a close with my favorite mod designed especially to enhance gameplay for elders. This comprehensive mod adds a multitude of enhancements to the later days of our aging sims.
You’ll experience new elder specific aspirations, geriatric healthcare options, estate planning, senior center activities and so much more. I can’t imagine playing my game without this mod.
