Today’s post is all about Sims 4 mermaid cc and mods to make this occult lifestage so much more fun!
Recently, I ranked ALL the Sims 4 expansion packs in order of my personal preference. I ranked Island Living pretty high (because I love the world) but mentioned that mermaids were pretty lackluster without cc or mods.
Now I’m sharing all the cc and mods I love using to make mermaids a BLAST! 😻
I’ll be honest, I don’t play with occults a ton, but I do enjoy it from time to time just to spice up my gameplay.
In particular, there is a expanded mermaids mod that I share at the end of this post which is seriously a game-changer. It adds so much depth to mermaids (that frankly, EA should’ve done from the start!). It even adds an entire ranking and perks system! You won’t want to miss it.

Colorful Scaled Sims 4 Mermaid CC Skin And CC Tail
This cc tail and cc mermaid top set is absolutely stunning.
The textures lean more alpha, but as I don’t play with occults a ton (and it’s not like mermaids walk around the world looking like this! lol) I don’t mind it at all in my maxis match game.

Maxis Match Male Sims 4 Mermaid CC Tail With Scales
This is a maxis match cc mermaid tail, and I am OBSESSED. The way the scales move up the body looks so realistic! (As realistic as a sim mermaid can be, anyways, lol).
I have pictured the male body type cc mermaid tail, but there is also a female body type available and they’re both so well done.
There are lots of great color swatches on this one too.

I about died when I found these webbed fingers!! I think this is such a cool detail to add to your mersims!
And it looks so good. Mermaids need accessories too! And bonus points: the texture is maxis match.

The Sims 4 Expanded Mermaids mod is a literal game changer.
It feels like an official EA game pack!
Spiing Plumbobs added new skills, a new ranking system, mermaid perks (which actually give your mermaids meaningful powers) and weaknesses, new objects and interactions, and new ways to interact with your sim worlds!
And that is JUST the tip of the iceberg. Seriously—if you enjoy playing with mermaids you absolutely NEED to mod.
