Who among us is an aesthetic queen? ✨ EVERYONE? Thought so. Shouldn’t our sims 4 saves be just as aesthetic as us?! That’s what sims 4 ReShade presets are for!

Picture this: your Sims strolling through a breathtaking sunset, with rays of golden light casting a warm glow over their faces.

Or imagine your Sims’ homes bathed in a soft, cinematic ambiance that adds a touch of magic to every room.

With sims 4 ReShade presets, these immersive and jaw-dropping visuals are a key-stroke away! Whether you’re a budding photographer, a storyteller looking to capture perfect moments, or simply want to enjoy a more aesthetic game, ReShade is the secret ingredient that will make your Sims 4 gameplay truly unforgettable.

Wait a second! You might be wondering what the heck ReShade even is.

ReShade is a post-processing injector that improves, enhances, and adds all-new graphic effects to video games!

Basically, it’s a simple program you install, and when you add reshade presets to it, you can turn them on and off in your game to get a completely different look! Seriously. It’s incredible how much of an impact reshade has on sims 4!

Unfortunately, ReShade is not available on MacOS. 🙁

But How Do I Download Reshade for Sims 4?

I’m so glad you asked!

MissLollypopSims on Youtube has an amazing tutorial! Check it out.

My FaVorite Sims 4 Reshade Presets

There are sooooo many sims 4 reshade presets out there! You could even make your own, if you felt like it. It can be overwhelming when there are just so many options! So I rounded up my favorites for you guys today.

Pro tip: go ahead and download all the sims 4 reshade presets you love! It’s super easy to switch between them in-game. And there’s no such thing as too many! 😉

Boho Dreams Sims 4 Reshade Preset

Boho Dreams Sims 4 Reshade Preset

Boho Dreams Reshade Preset by Neecxle is actually the current shader I’m using for my gameplay right now!

The Boho Dreams preset is perfect for gameplay. It brightens everything up, adds vibrancy, and has a vintage-ish vibe to it that isn’t overly intense. The effects are simple enough that this shader won’t slow down your computer like some of the more effect-heavy presets can.

In my opinion, Boho Dreams is a must-have sims 4 reshade preset! It’s versatile, runs well, and makes the game looking absolutely amazing.

SoftPine’s Pumpkin Pie Sims 4 Reshade Preset

SoftPine's Pumpkin Pie Sims 4 Reshade Preset

Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorite reshade presets for taking aesthetic photos! As you can see by the preview image, this preset has tons of amazing effects, like depth of field (the blurred background).

This is definitely not a shader you want to use with gameplay (unless you turn off some of the more intense settings, like depth of field!) but it’s INCREDIBLE for taking photos! It makes everything feel soft, warm, and cozy—just like a slice of pumpkin pie!

Blarffy’s Softie Reshade Preset

Blarffy's Softie Reshade Preset

The Softie preset by Blarffy is super cute! It brightens up the in-game lighting, but desaturates all the colors, giving the game a super soft look (hence the name!).

Blarffy specifically made this preset to make the bright green alien skin a nice, soft pastel (like in the preview photo!) but this is such a nice reshade preset to use even if you’re not playing with aliens! The gentle colors are so soothing when you get tired of all the vibrancy!

KindleSpice Dove 2.0 Sims 4 Reshade Preset

The Athena Reshade Preset is so gorgeous! As you can see in the before/after preview above, it adds a soft, pastel vibe to your game.

It almost has a pink/purple tint to it, which just feels so dreamy! This one doesn’t have as many bells as whistles as some other presets out there, but it is just as stunning visually. It creates a really memorable atmosphere, which would be perfect for storytellers looking to set a certain mood!

Ellcrze Tofu Sims 4 GShade Preset

Ellcrze Tofu Sims 4 GShade Preset

Tofu was technically made with GShade (and alternate program to ReShade, that some people prefer to use!) but it works just as well in ReShade, in my experience! 🙂

Ellcrze is the queen of aesthetic sims 4 content, and the Tofu Preset is no exception. It’s so soft and dreamy, and sort of adds a yellow/green tint to the game, that just makes everything feel like a warm hug.

Minty Fresh Sims 4 Reshade Preset

Minty Fresh is an amazing Reshade Preset option, especially if you’re looking for a gameplay-friendly preset! Simply turn off the MXAO if your computer can’t handle it, and your game can look this beautiful all the time. 🙂

Minty Fresh adds so much vibrancy and warmth to the game—it really makes playing the sims feel so different! I mean, just look at the screenshot of the Magnolia Blossom park!!! It looks so much more immersive with the shaders applied.

The Yuhum sims 4 reshade preset is one of my FAVORITES! It’s a subtle shift of color and lighting, but wow, does it make the game feel so much more immersive! Seriously, using this one makes me feel like my game is a cinematic film. It almost has a vintage/nostalgic quality to it, which I love.

There are several hot keys to toggle on and off different effects, so you can customize it for optimal performance and aesthetics.

Softee Sims 4 Reshade Preset

The Softee Preset is SO dreamy! It desaturates the colors and softens everything in the background so your sims truly pop. It has a warm, yellow tint to it that is just so cozy and lovely.

And the best part about this preset: it is Black sim friendly! This preset will not accidentally white-wash your sims skin tones. I know that’s a super common complaint people have about reshade presets, so I love that this creator took the time to get the settings just right.

Ellcrze Latte GShade Preset

Ellcrze Latte GShade Preset

The Latte Preset is perfect if you’re looking for warm and cozy vibes in your game! There’s even a gameplay and a screenshot option. The gameplay preset is easier on your computer and better for actually playing the game, where the screenshot preset turns on all the gorgeous effects we love so much!

Ellcrze is amazing at creating sims 4 reshade presets, you definitely won’t want to miss this one!

Ellanora Sims 4 Reshade Preset (Perfect for Gameplay!)

I LOVE the Daisy reshade preset for sims 4! It really enhances what’s already in the game without completely changing the ambience.

The Mist Preset just *screams* IT GIRL, and I’m so here for these vibes.
